Department of Public Health Dentistry of MRDCW under the guidance of Dr. Vijay Kumar K.V ( Prof and head ; NSS Nodal officer MRV)organized National Youth Day celebrations on 12 January 2026 at Auditorium of Mrdcw to commemorate the 164th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, in line with UGC guidelines, with the aim of promoting discipline, leadership, selfless service, and national pride among students. The programme included a lamp lighting ceremony, motivational addresses on youth empowerment and nation-building which was given by Dr. Muralidhar Panchagnula, student competitions in poetry, recitation, and elocution, a Blood Donation Drive encouraging humanitarian service, and rally titled “Run for Swadeshi 2026” to promote patriotism, unity, and self-reliance, concluding with the distribution of prizes and certificates.
