Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a unique, challenging discipline of dentistry. This department focuses on wide range of disease involving Head, Neck, Jaw & Facial tissues. The scope of this specialty is very extensive ranging from simple extraction of teeth to management of head & Neck pathologies, Facial trauma and Esthetic facial corrections like cleft lip & palate.

The undergraduate students & Postgraduate students undergo specialized intensive clinical & surgical training in this field. Students are also trained in Major operation theatre setup & effectively interact with other allied disciplines (Like General Surgery, ENT, and Plastic Surgery & Anesthesia) to provide comprehensive care.

Basic life support & Management of medical emergencies are also taught to the students as a part of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery curriculum.
